These are the cookbooks I refer to whenever I want to double check my flavor instincts or whip up a Greek dish I’ve never tried. All but the last one on the list are passed down from my mother Matina. The last one on the list was a 2010 Christmas gift from my cousins. I was wondering whether you could recommend any Greek cookery books that offer authentic, traditional recipes. I like to read about the country too, but I am more interested in traditional recipes. I have books by Sophia Skoura and Chrissa Paradissis and am hoping to expand my collection. Thanks.
Thank you for visiting Kitoula.com! The cookbooks on this list were published by the authors who were predominately Greek women from the churches. The proceeds from them usually went to the church.
